Prepared for Worst and Hoped for BEST!!!!!!!!!!

Was anxiously awaiting this noon appt with Natasha, Athletic Therapist, from Kingston Athletic Therapy.  Ambulated in with crutches for appointment and had her give me her thoughts after a thorough orthopedic exam.

Findings so far....LCL is toast...super open end feel.  All other Ligaments had end feels but the ACL is questionable but I can tell....It is going to be 2nd degree at most.  Meniscus and healing of intra-articular structures will take time but will be smart and manage the rehab process.

In a bit of a euphoria...crazy to think I am HAPPY with a blown LCL but if that is ALL....I can manage that.  Doctor's appt this thursday to request the xray report as it indicated "atypical findings" at the proximal tib/fib joint...perhaps the LCL reflected some avulsion which could make sense.  GP make recommendation for ortho and MRI follow up for due dilligence.

Onwards and UPWARDS!!!  Exhale....

And then I research grade 3 LCL......oh boy.....need to get this looked into quickly....could be surgical...F&*%
